About the Role
• Conduct daily QA observations and enforce safety standards on contractor work. • Implement Parsons’ Quality Assurance Process and follow the supplemental Quality Assurance Plan for the site. • Perform and document inspection and testing activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements. • Review contractor submittals, provide written recommendations, and monitor timeliness to meet contract deadlines. • Evaluate construction techniques, quality‑control plans, and safety procedures, offering approval or corrective action guidance. • Inspect initial work efforts and daily quality‑control and safety reports to verify adherence to contract documents and hazard analyses. • Submit daily QA reports within 24 hours and participate in pre‑construction, progress, and coordination meetings. • Track and verify corrective actions for identified deficiencies, ensuring timely resolution and prevention of recurrence. • Collaborate closely with the Site Team—including Project Manager, Project Engineer, Office Engineer, and QA Representatives—to achieve project success. • Utilize web‑based project management systems (e.g., Procore, Kahua, USACE RMS) for submittal and QA reporting.

What You Bring
Parsons is seeking experienced Quality Assurance Representatives to join a major program and construction‑management team supporting a large government customer on a critical border‑security infrastructure project. The team delivers Owner‑Agent Construction Management Services—including program management, risk management, scheduling, cost estimating, progress reporting, construction quality assurance, and safety—working from project offices or trailers located on remote construction sites. Candidates must have at least five years of construction‑related experience overseeing safety and quality on multi‑million‑dollar federal projects involving horizontal construction, earthwork, aggregate processing, concrete placement, and supporting infrastructure. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management—or equivalent experience—is required, together with a US citizenship, ability to pass federal background checks, a valid driver’s license, and the physical ability to work on rough terrain. Experience with web‑based project‑management tools such as Procore, Kahua, USACE RMS, or NAVFAC eCMS is essential, while familiarity with critical‑path schedule review, remote‑site work, and recent OSHA 30‑hour or Construction Quality Management coursework is preferred. No security clearance is required.
