About the Role

The Commercial Superintendent provides maintenance support and ensures quality, timely service for clients, responding to service requests and helping Cushman & Wakefield deliver superior customer service. Key duties include inspecting facilities, prioritizing work, hiring and training staff, supervising vendors, managing preventive maintenance, coordinating contractors, interacting with occupants, tracking costs, reviewing plans, budgeting, and performing office administration. • Inspect facilities and equipment to assess service needs and required personnel. • Prioritize work, assign requests, and perform repairs as needed. • Hire and train building support staff on maintenance and safety. • Supervise skilled and unskilled vendors for maintenance, repairs, and cleaning. • Develop and oversee a preventive maintenance program. • Coordinate and direct vendors/contractors for on‑site services and construction. • Meet with occupants to address needs and gather improvement suggestions. • Track labor and material costs and generate cost reports for owners or agents. • Review plans/specifications and recommend operational improvements. • Prepare budgets, make purchasing decisions, manage inventory, and control expenditures. • Drive continuous improvement to reduce turnaround times and enhance service quality. • Maintain work logs, employee time records, inventories, and provide monthly reports.

What You Bring

The role requires flexibility to work any shift, knowledge of safe cleaning practices, basic math skills, a valid driver's license, and adherence to company safety policies.
