About the Role

The Finance Manager role is responsible for all contract budgets, costs, and accounting functions to ensure full contract compliance and corporate accountability. The position is onsite at Stennis Space Center, with occasional work at the Michoud Assembly Plant. • Manage all accounting department functions, including payroll, accounts payable, journal entries, billing, and audit support. • Oversee analytical data and generate business, customer, and corporate financial reports. • Maintain accurate contract cost records for all CLINs and modifications. • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, collective bargaining agreements, and federal cost accounting standards. • Develop and implement procedures for purchases, financial transactions, and ethical reporting. • Supervise and train accounting staff on policies, procedures, and timesheet processing. • Review and approve payroll, deductions, purchase orders, invoices, check requests, and expense reports. • Authorize cash disbursements, verify validity of services, and reconcile general ledger accounts. • Create and manage job cost codes, job cost reports, and project financial analyses (e.g., labor cost, budget comparisons, cash forecasts). • Coordinate internal and external financial audit activities.
