About the Role

The Technical Professional Leader is a senior staff position tasked with overseeing the specification and application of rotating machinery such as compressors, turbines, and pumps. The role also encompasses selection and service of ancillary mechanical equipment, including utility systems, packaged units, material handling, and bulk solids processing. The incumbent will guide designers and drafters while ensuring adherence to current API standards for rotating equipment and auxiliary systems. • Specify and apply rotating machinery, including compressors, turbines, and pumps. • Select and service mechanical equipment such as utility systems, packaged units, and bulk solids processing units. • Provide technical guidance to designers and drafters on equipment specifications. • Ensure compliance with current API standards for centrifugal pumps, compressors, and auxiliary systems. • Lead project activities, coordinating with management, tracking schedules, and developing change orders. • Oversee installation and commissioning processes where applicable.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a B.E. or B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field and be a Licensed Professional Engineer or willing to become one. Preferred experience includes work on chemical, petrochemical, refining, and oil & gas projects—particularly LNG liquefaction, ammonia, ethylene, and offshore facilities—and prior engineering contractor roles. Experience with installation and commissioning, as well as project leadership responsibilities such as schedule management and change order development, is also valued. • Hold a B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and be a Licensed Professional Engineer or willing to obtain licensure. • Demonstrate experience with chemical, petrochemical, refining, LNG, ammonia, ethylene, and offshore projects. • Possess prior engineering contractor experience.
