About the Role
As the Engineer of Record, the Supervising Mechanical Engineer will lead coordination meetings, supervise staff, and manage budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration. Responsibilities also include establishing design standards, handling construction administration, and preparing proposals and project invoices. • Act as Engineer of Record on dedicated projects • Lead and supervise coordination meetings • Supervise and mentor engineering staff • Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria • Manage construction administration (field reports, RFIs, bulletins, addenda) • Coordinate project invoicing and monitor accounts receivable • Participate in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management • Prepare proposals and administer project contracts • Conduct system option analysis and building condition reporting

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a current Professional Engineer (PE) license and possess a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution. The role requires at least 12 years of consulting experience, including three years of supervisory experience, and a background in MEP engineering, healthcare design, and critical facilities.
