About the Role
The Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager provides direction and support for all EH&S activities, overseeing implementation, monitoring, and review of compliance and performance across Cushman & Wakefield's U.S. Asset Services sites. This role champions a strong, visible safety culture and effectively communicates EH&S expectations and operating philosophies to all levels of the organization. Key responsibilities include identifying potential hazards, assessing risks, and developing corrective and preventive action plans, as well as creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for safe work practices and equipment. The manager coordinates regulatory inspections and audits, ensures prompt closure of findings, partners with regional engineering leaders on monthly safety inspections, and maintains all EH&S documentation, permits, and records in line with OSHA and other regulatory requirements. Additional duties involve investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses, supporting workers’ compensation claim management and return‑to‑work initiatives, and ensuring compliance with recordkeeping for training, auditing, medical, and OSHA documentation. The role also develops an online safety training platform, collaborates with global EH&S teams on enterprise‑wide initiatives, supports the creation of emergency procedures and tenant manuals, and establishes standards for environmental issues such as asbestos, fuel oil storage, indoor air quality, mold remediation, and water intrusion. • Implement and govern EH&S programs across U.S. Asset Services sites. • Lead safety culture initiatives and communicate EH&S expectations. • Identify hazards, assess risk, and develop corrective and preventive action plans. • Create and maintain SOPs for safe work practices and equipment. • Coordinate regulatory inspections, audits, and ensure timely closure of findings. • Partner with regional engineering leaders on monthly safety inspections. • Maintain EH&S documentation, permits, and OSHA records. • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; enforce corrective actions. • Support workers’ compensation claim management and return‑to‑work programs. • Ensure compliance with training, auditing, medical, and OSHA recordkeeping. • Develop and manage an online safety training platform aligned with industry standards. • Collaborate with global EH&S teams on enterprise‑wide initiatives. • Develop emergency procedures and tenant emergency manuals for sites. • Establish environmental standards for asbestos, fuel oil tanks, indoor air quality, mold, and water intrusion. • Participate in new business pursuits, presenting EH&S considerations. • Travel regularly to sites, corporate offices, and management locations as required.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science or a related discipline (preferred) and have at least five years of progressive EH&S experience, demonstrating strong knowledge of U.S. OSHA regulations and OH&S legislation. Preferred certifications include Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), alongside strong communication, organizational, risk‑assessment, analytical, and stakeholder‑engagement skills. • Hold a bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred). • Possess 5+ years of progressive EH&S program management experience. • Demonstrate strong knowledge of U.S. OSHA and OH&S legislation. • Preferred certifications: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
