About the Role

Xcel Energy seeks a Regulatory Policy Specialist to partner with senior leaders and subject‑matter experts across the organization. The role will shape strategies, develop persuasive regulatory filings, and guide case teams to achieve constructive outcomes for the company’s essential energy services. • Develop, compile, and edit complex regulatory case filings aligned with corporate strategy. • Advocate Xcel Energy’s positions in regulatory proceedings, rulemakings, and legislative hearings. • Coordinate compliance activities across designated jurisdictions. • Collaborate with senior management and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging. • Prepare testimony, discovery responses, and presentations for external agencies and internal audiences. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines. • Support witnesses in preparing pre‑filed testimony and assist case teams as needed.
