About the Role
The role monitors installations to ensure work is performed according to Company standards and contract requirements, using Company crews efficiently and properly. It involves collaborating with the foreman to manage portions of the project and employees, focusing on productivity, safety, quality control, scheduling, and material procurement. This position is considered safety sensitive. Key responsibilities include understanding the assigned project portion, communicating effectively with foremen and crew, and maintaining courteous customer interactions. The incumbent must ensure compliance with all relevant codes, verify that required materials are on site and received, and manage crew productivity and time. They are expected to set high performance and quality standards, establish project goals, utilize the Prefab shop, anticipate problems, lead and motivate the crew, enforce legal break times, maintain accurate as‑built documentation, and follow Bergelectric’s employee handbook and safety policies. • Monitor installations to ensure compliance with company standards and contracts. • Coordinate with foremen and crews to manage project portions effectively. • Ensure all work meets NEC, federal, state, county, and local code requirements. • Verify required materials are on site and confirm receipt of ordered supplies. • Manage crew productivity and time to achieve project goals. • Establish and maintain high performance and quality standards. • Utilize the Prefab shop resources to their fullest extent. • Lead and motivate the crew, ensuring punctual daily starts and legal break adherence. • Maintain accurate daily or weekly as‑built documentation. • Enforce Bergelectric’s safety policies and employee handbook.

What You Bring
Qualifications require completion of an electrical construction apprenticeship, a valid state electrician license, or at least four years of journeyman experience, along with solid knowledge of electrical codes and installation methods. Strong communication skills, the ability to read technical instructions and electrical drawings, basic math proficiency, and problem‑solving abilities are essential. Candidates must also be adept with industry tools, possess basic mechanical skills, and be able to visualize and sketch electrical layouts. Physical demands include lifting and pulling up to 50 lb, climbing ladders, pulling wire and conduit, and maintaining positions such as squatting, stooping, or kneeling while wearing a 25 lb tool belt. The work requires prolonged standing, repetitive motions, and the ability to work from ladders, man lifts, or reach booms in a variety of weather conditions and high noise levels. • Anticipate potential problems and take proactive corrective actions. • Hold a completed electrical apprenticeship, state license, or 4 years journeyman experience.
