About the Role

The Maintenance Supervisor position oversees the general maintenance of a high‑complexity multi‑unit residential property. Responsibilities include supervising staff, repairing and maintaining mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and coordinating housekeeping tasks. • Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff, handling hiring, discipline, performance appraisals, training, and communication. • Repair and maintain mechanical equipment, including HVAC systems; diagnose issues, disassemble, clean, lubricate, and replace parts. • Perform carpentry tasks such as installing doors, doorjambs, moldings, hinges, locks, and conduct drywall, plaster, and painting work. • Conduct electrical work including inspecting, testing, and repairing lighting, wiring, switches, lamps, and ballasts. • Carry out plumbing duties such as unclogging sinks/toilets, fixing faucets, replacing washers, repairing pipes, and maintaining fountains. • Manage contractor and vendor relationships: write specifications, solicit and negotiate bids, and oversee service procurement.

What You Bring

Required education is a high school diploma or GED, with 3–4 years of commercial or multi‑unit property experience; 5–7 years can offset the education requirement. Preferred certifications include HVAC, electrical, appliance, and a valid driver’s license.

Benefits
