About the Role
The Technical Service Specialist acts as the primary source of product knowledge for sales, customer service, and project coordination, leveraging expertise in filtration products to educate both internal and external partners. This role collaborates closely with the sales team and channel partners to review RFPs and create accurate, competitive techno‑commercial proposals. Supporting North American and global sales teams, distributors, and end users, the specialist develops professional proposal packages for both standard and configurable filtration lines, evaluates commercial and technical requirements, and advises customers on potential conflicts and recommended changes. Additionally, they facilitate in‑house and field training on filter sizing, pricing, application, and function to strengthen market channel knowledge. The specialist maintains up‑to‑date market insight through field studies, educational programs, and industry affiliations, while providing feedback to engineering and sales for new product and market development. Responsibilities also include assisting marketing and pricing teams with product literature, preparing quarterly sales performance reports, and participating in ad‑hoc projects that support sales, marketing, and operations goals. • Educate internal and external partners on filtration product features and applications • Review requests for proposals and develop competitive techno‑commercial proposals • Provide technical support to North America and global sales teams, distributors, and end users • Create proposal packages for standard and configurable filtration product lines • Assess commercial and technical RFP requirements and recommend corrective actions • Conduct training on filter sizing, pricing, application, and functionality • Maintain current market knowledge through field studies and industry affiliations • Supply engineering and sales teams with feedback for new product and market development • Support marketing and pricing teams in producing product literature and price guides • Analyze sales data and generate quarterly performance reports • Participate in ad‑hoc projects that advance sales, marketing, and operational objectives • Assist customer service by responding to phone calls and email inquiries

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, physical science or a related field and have at least one year (or four years) of experience in industrial technical sales, manufacturing operations, or engineering. Applicants must reside within 50 miles of Chanhassen, MN or Tinton Falls, NJ (military exemptions apply), be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, and possess knowledge of liquid filtration, Salesforce or similar CRM, and an industrial ERP system. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, physical science, or related field • Possess at least 1 year (or 4 years) of experience in industrial technical sales, manufacturing operations, or engineering • Able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship • Reside within 50 miles of Chanhassen, MN or Tinton Falls, NJ (military exemptions apply) • Demonstrate knowledge of industrial liquid filtration applications • Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM systems • Experience with industrial manufacturing ERP platforms
