About the Role
The Project Coordinator will support a group of Project Managers overseeing design, permitting, construction support, and commissioning of EV charging projects. The role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, generating weekly financial reports, updating schedules, preparing close‑out documentation, and assisting with permit package submissions. Candidates should aim to eventually manage projects independently. The position can be fully remote, though occasional in‑person permit submittals in Southern California are preferred. • Track project schedules and deliverables, following up with team members. • Communicate project updates internally and to clients via email, minutes, and calls. • Use technology and project‑management tools to coordinate distributed teams. • Attend and contribute to internal and external project meetings as directed. • Facilitate client meetings with support from NV5 Project Managers. • Monitor and manage permit requests throughout project lifecycles. • Process and submit permit packages to relevant agencies. • Update permit status in project trackers promptly. • Distribute timely information to team members. • Notify appropriate stakeholders of deliverable status. • Occasionally travel to Southern California permitting offices and NV5 meetings.

What You Bring
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (preferred). • Possess project‑coordinating experience in engineering or permitting (preferred). • Demonstrate passion for project performance and ability to meet accelerated schedules.

Benefits
Base salary for California candidates ranges from $55,000 to $65,000 annually, with adjustments based on experience, skills, and location. Additional compensation may include restricted stock units and a comprehensive benefits package covering medical, dental, life insurance, paid time off, 401(k) and professional development opportunities.
