About the Role

• Coordinate daily activities, maintain project records, and assist in resolving field issues. • Supervise and mentor lower-level technicians, providing technical guidance and ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications. • Oversee inspection and testing activities, review field documentation, and ensure work conforms to NCDOT standards. • Highway and Roadway Construction Inspection • Serve as a Lead Project Inspector providing general project oversight and direct communication with contractors and NCDOT representatives.

What You Bring

• Proven experience leading or overseeing field inspection teams. • NCDOT Conventional Density Technician • Strong knowledge of NCDOT Construction Manual, Standard Specifications, and Materials Testing Procedures. • NCDOT QMS Roadway Technician • Minimum seven (7) years of relevant transportation construction inspection experience.
