About the Role
The role covers the full project lifecycle, requiring deep knowledge of electrical, HVAC, fire‑alarm, plumbing and fire‑fighting systems. Responsibilities include supporting technical design briefs, reviewing MEP specifications, leading on‑site construction coordination, and managing vendor negotiations and value‑engineering. The candidate will supervise a team, redesign drawings and material schedules, and ensure cost control and timely completion while liaising with clients, consultants and subcontractors. • Oversee entire MEP project lifecycle, covering electrical, HVAC, fire‑alarm, plumbing and fire‑fighting systems. • Review and interpret MEP specifications, contracts and design briefs; conduct technical and commercial negotiations with vendors. • Lead on‑site MEP construction, coordinating clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors. • Redesign drawings and material schedules to optimise cost and schedule performance. • Prepare and negotiate variation orders (VO) and manage value‑engineering initiatives. • Ensure adherence to Turner & Townsend’s global environmental policy. • Provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams and foster collaborative teamwork.

What You Bring
All activities must adhere to Turner & Townsend’s global environmental policy. A minimum of an engineering diploma or B.E./B.Tech in electrical or mechanical engineering is required, with a postgraduate qualification considered an advantage. Candidates should have 5–10 years of post‑qualification experience in a construction consultancy in India, strong technical skills, and excellent verbal and written English communication. • Hold an engineering diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical engineering; postgraduate qualification advantageous. • Possess 5–10 years of construction consultancy experience in India with strong MEP and sustainability/LEED knowledge. • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
