The role requires understanding how to perform phase rotation and alignment checks, basic network functionality, and sealed and wet‑celled battery theory. Safe use of hand tools, including insulated tools when appropriate, and strict compliance with safety rules are essential. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of two years of experience in power systems, battery technologies, or electronics (including coursework or internships). Candidates must possess a valid, unrestricted state driver’s licence, be able to pass background checks and drug screenings, and be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. This remote position is limited to residents of the greater Baltimore, MD area, though active‑duty military candidates are exempt. Preferably, applicants hold an associate’s degree in electrical, electronics, or a related field, or are enrolled in a bachelor’s engineering program, and have at least three years of relevant experience. Ability to read schematic drawings and apply troubleshooting, test, and repair techniques is required. Periodic support of customers outside the immediate region within the USA may be required.
