About the Role
As a Project Manager I, you will be responsible for the safety, direction, completion, and financial outcome of projects from initial budgeting through closeout. Safety is a core value, and you will promote safe work practices while coordinating with project management and field supervision to set priorities, maintain quality, and foster positive relationships with internal and external team members. You will lead project planning, scheduling, cost management, and subcontractor coordination to ensure successful delivery. • Ensure customer satisfaction by exceeding client objectives and needs • Estimate, value engineer, and develop project budgets • Facilitate subcontractor bid process, including processing, distribution, and tracking of documentation • Utilize software programs and templates to manage project documentation • Negotiate subcontractor and material buyouts and develop subcontracts • Plan and schedule projects • Manage jobs in progress, coordinating subcontractors, resolving conflicts, and ensuring quality and safety • Control project costs by evaluating labor, material, and equipment and forecasting construction expenses and profits • Perform project closeout activities • Manage single projects ranging from $5 million to $20 million or multiple smaller projects • Develop project safety plan, safety budget, and safety scope of work • Build a master schedule covering preconstruction and construction phases and manage subcontractor schedules • Understand, negotiate, and purchase the complete scope of work • Align subcontractor agreement terms with owner contract terms • Maintain relationships with owners, architects, and developers • Develop and lead job start meetings • Generate cost‑to‑complete reports • Lead quality walks and develop a project‑specific quality plan and scope of work • Coordinate with field supervision to ensure smooth project execution • Provide leadership by building relationships, motivating team members, and fostering cooperative teamwork • Train and mentor less experienced team members • Interact with clients and prospects to identify and pursue potential work • Participate in client presentations and project interviews

What You Bring
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or a related field (preferred) and at least seven years of experience. Strong relationship‑building skills, a collaborative leadership style, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
