About the Role

The AECOM Advisory team blends the analytical rigor of management consulting with deep, practical infrastructure experience. By fostering trusted relationships with senior decision‑makers, the team helps organisations navigate complexity, build resilient, inclusive businesses and deliver strategic, operational and change‑management solutions. The role involves working with public and private sector clients on complex organisational challenges, planning and leading strategy‑driven change and transformation initiatives in ambiguous environments. You will shape change plans, manage client‑facing delivery, and collaborate with cross‑regional teams while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and producing high‑quality outputs. • Shape clients' change and transformation plans aligned with business cases and organisational objectives. • Lead day‑to‑day client‑facing advisory work, managing delivery, priorities and relationships. • Apply strategic thinking and critical analysis to complex, uncertain problems. • Challenge assumptions and present credible, persuasive alternatives for better decision‑making. • Collaborate with delivery teams across the UK, UAE and USA. • Build strong internal relationships with programme management, economics, strategic procurement, engineering, architecture and master planning. • Advise executive leadership, lead workshops and produce high‑quality deliverables. • Develop junior team members to enhance change and transformation capabilities. • Facilitate conversations across seniority levels, drawing clear conclusions and driving action‑oriented outcomes. • Collaborate and lead teams in fast‑paced, open and creative environments.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates have experience with public‑sector clients, proven ability to build trusted relationships in multi‑partner settings, and a track record of designing and delivering behavioural change initiatives. A solid understanding of business strategy, governance, capability mapping and operating‑model design, combined with strong facilitation, communication and collaborative leadership skills, is essential. • Experience working with public‑sector clients and exposure to private‑sector environments. • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships within complex, multi‑partner stakeholder environments. • Experience designing, delivering and tracking behavioural change and transformation initiatives. • Understanding of business strategy, governance, capability mapping, capital programme delivery and operating‑model design. • Communicate clearly in person, virtual meetings, and through high‑quality written briefings and presentations.
