Key duties include performing predictive noise analyses using tools such as the FHWA Traffic Noise Model and CadnaA, conducting and supervising field sound level measurements, processing data for reports, researching regulatory codes, and preparing client deliverables like technical reports and graphics. Travel nationwide and outdoor work in varied climates are routine, and occasional night or weekend assignments may be required. • Conduct predictive noise analyses with FHWA Traffic Noise Model and CadnaA. • Perform field sound level measurements, process data, and document results. • Research and interpret local, state, and national noise regulations. • Prepare client deliverables such as reports, technical documents, and graphics.

What You Bring
The company is hiring an entry‑level Acoustician to work in one of its California offices—Oakland, Los Angeles, Orange, or San Diego—and the position can start as soon as possible. This role supports noise analysis for major transportation, construction, energy, and development projects across the United States. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Acoustical Science, Environmental Policy, or a related field, be a U.S. citizen, and possess a valid driver’s license. Preferred qualifications include experience in acoustics or noise control, familiarity with CAD, Excel, GIS, Revit, BIM360, and noise‑measurement equipment, as well as strong teamwork and verbal communication skills. • Travel nationwide and work outdoors in various climates; occasional nights/weekends. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; U.S. citizenship and valid driver’s license required. • Preferred: experience with acoustics, CAD, Excel, GIS, Revit, BIM360, and noise‑measurement equipment. • Demonstrated teamwork and strong verbal communication abilities.
