About the Role
The role operates within Johnson Controls' Continuous Improvement & Production system, where you will evaluate current performance, pinpoint gaps, and design a roadmap to reach the desired future state. You will also lead the definition, design, and implementation of process improvements as part of the Johnson Controls Business System (JCBS), ensuring alignment across all organizational levels and driving projects that support strategic priorities. You will collaborate with plant personnel at every level to assess metrics, create a vision for future operations, and oversee the execution of improvement plans. Coaching front‑line leaders, involving process owners, and leveraging Kaizen tracking tools will be key to maintaining project momentum and achieving transformational outcomes. Additionally, you will help craft a plant CI roadmap that balances internal efficiency initiatives with customer‑focused projects, and you will support the Plant Manager on strategic compliance and system‑implementation efforts. • Assess current performance and identify gaps to develop future state plans. • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects aligned with business strategy. • Coach plant staff and front‑line leaders in the Johnson Controls Business System (JCBS). • Utilize Kaizen funnel tracking to monitor project performance and ensure timely completion. • Develop and execute a plant CI roadmap that balances internal efficiency with customer‑focused initiatives. • Assist Process Owners in overcoming barriers and document best‑practice learnings. • Support the Plant Manager on strategic initiatives, compliance, and system implementation. • Deliver annual plant goals and drive safety performance.

What You Bring
Successful candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and possess at least five years of continuous‑improvement experience combined with five years in an operational frontline leadership role. A proven track record of high performance, strong leadership, basic statistical knowledge, lean‑methodology certification, and strong interpersonal abilities are essential, as is proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in continuous improvement and operational leadership. • Demonstrate lean certification, statistical analysis skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Benefits
The position offers a salary range of $100,000 to $134,000, dependent on experience and qualifications, along with a competitive benefits package.
