About the Role
Key duties include servicing the insurance placement process, preparing standard and ad‑hoc risk management reports, maintaining accurate policy data, processing endorsements, and managing organized project insurance files. The role also handles insurance‑related invoices, tracks payment status, issues certificates of insurance, assists with claim reporting, coordinates with adjusters, maintains claim files, and creates renewal submissions and loss run requests. • Service all aspects of insurance placement using the agency management system • Prepare and distribute standard and ad‑hoc risk management reports • Maintain up‑to‑date policy data and organized project insurance files • Process insurance endorsements and related invoices • Track invoice payments and handle cancellation notices • Issue certificates of insurance promptly to meet project requirements • Assist with insurance claim reporting and coordinate with adjusters • Maintain and update claim files with current documentation • Create renewal submission applications and order loss runs

What You Bring
AECOM/Hunt is seeking a Risk Management Coordinator for the Mid‑Town Manhattan office. The coordinator provides technical, administrative, and operational support to the Risk Management Department, gaining hands‑on experience with the company's insurance programs, claims management, and certificate of insurance processes. The minimum qualification is a BA/BS in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field plus two years of commercial risk management experience, or equivalent education and experience. Preferred qualifications include direct commercial risk management experience, compliance coordination with city agencies, knowledge of CCIP claims, strong communication, problem‑solving, teamwork, Microsoft Office proficiency, analytical detail, multitasking, independent work, and a willingness to learn. This position does not include sponsorship for U.S. work authorization, requires a pre‑employment substance abuse test, and is located in New York City with hybrid work options available. • Hold a BA/BS in Finance, Business Administration, or related field • Minimum two years of commercial risk management experience • Direct experience in asset management, real estate, or general contracting • Experience coordinating compliance and licensing with city agencies • Knowledge of CCIP claims and financial integrity processes • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong problem‑solving, time‑management, and analytic abilities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and detail‑oriented work style • Ability to multitask, work independently, and foster teamwork
