About the Role
The purpose of the role is to coordinate and schedule detailing services for the branch, ensuring work is properly detailed and aligned with customer requirements, while also managing outside detailing contracts with vendors and advising employees to meet performance standards. • Adhere to Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s safety programs and standards. • Oversee productivity and quality of detailer work to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and presentation quality. • Maintain oversight of contacts between detailers and customers to ensure accurate delivery information and resolve issues. • Provide feedback during performance appraisals and recommend salary adjustments for detailing personnel. • Assist with recruitment, hiring, orientation, and training of new detailers and project managers. • Stay informed on technological developments in detailing methods and equipment and advise management. • Produce reports as requested by management. • Apply ACI codes and CRSI standards. • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding personnel situations and certain customer and management information.

What You Bring
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; candidates must be able to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. This position will be based out of San Antonio or Austin, supporting projects from our Jewett facility. • Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s vision and values. • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. • Minimum five years’ experience as a reinforcing bar Project Manager, including two years with Nucor’s detailing system. • Experience in customer relations and resolving problems or disputes. • Basic knowledge of contract law, standard business practices, and human relations. • Effective communicator.
