What You Bring
AECOM is seeking a highly talented Dams Engineering Project Manager for the East Region Dams Team, supporting a variety of dam safety engineering projects across locations such as Atlanta, Buffalo, Charlotte, and Tampa. Reporting to an AECOM office in the region, the Project Manager will maintain client relationships, oversee contracting, project planning, financial and technical management, change management, and lead project teams including subcontractors. The role is client‑facing with ownership of successful delivery, business development, and proposal preparation, while providing technical support for analyses, design, risk assessments, site inspections, construction observation and regulatory compliance. The position requires U.S. citizenship, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass AECOM’s motor vehicle records review. Sponsorship and relocation are not available. Compensation ranges from $125,000 to $175,000 annually, and the role follows a hybrid work model based in Germantown, Maryland. • Minimum: BS in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical/Structural/Hydrology), 6+ years experience, PE license (or pass exam within 6 months), valid driver’s license, U.S. citizenship. • Preferred: Master’s degree, dam design/rehab experience, lead multi‑disciplinary teams, complete Managing AECOM Projects training, Procore/e‑Builder, Power BI, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, strong communication skills.
