About the Role
The role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with clients such as building owners, facility managers, engineers, and consultants. The incumbent will develop and execute sales strategies, manage the full service sales cycle, provide technical advice, create proposals and presentations, and collaborate with the construction project team to deliver technical service agreements. • Build and maintain relationships with clients, building owners, facility managers, engineers, and consultants. • Develop and execute a sales strategy and account management plan to achieve annual targets. • Manage the complete service sales cycle, ensuring customer satisfaction. • Develop technical expertise in Climatec’s automation, energy, and digital solutions. • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for advanced digital and energy‑conservation offerings. • Qualify prospects, schedule sales calls, and follow leads using Climatec marketing tools. • Convert accounts to Technical Service Agreements and deliver agreements post‑project. • Provide technical advice, create project layouts, estimate costs, and prepare proposals and presentations. • Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activities and customer interactions. • Collaborate with construction teams and other sales representatives; represent Climatec at industry events.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of sales experience in commercial DDC control systems, HVAC, or BAS/BMS, and a proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Required skills include knowledge of platforms like Alerton, Distech, Honeywell, Tridium, and Niagara, strong communication and public‑speaking abilities, and proficiency with MS Office and sales analytics tools. A bachelor’s degree and leadership experience are preferred. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, maintain a satisfactory driving record, and spend significant time sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, conducting field surveys, and delivering presentations, with travel as needed. • High school diploma/GED (or equivalent) with 5+ years building automation sales experience. • 3+ years hands‑on experience with BAS/DDC control systems. • Proven record of exceeding sales targets in the HVAC/BAS/BMS industry. • Knowledge of Alerton, Distech, Honeywell, Tridium, and Niagara platforms. • Strong communication, interpersonal, and public‑speaking skills. • Proficiency with MS Office and sales analytics tools. • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field; 5+ years leading sales teams; extensive prospecting experience.
