About the Role

The EH&S Manager will document and implement programs to deliver Health and Safety compliance for the client account in the APJC theater, ensuring systematic plans for daily management, improvement, effective reporting, and progress review. This role provides guidance and support to site management, program owners, and site personnel across multiple facilities to ensure compliance through design, organization, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and programs. • Implement comprehensive EH&S programs (e.g., contractor safety, hazardous energy isolation, chemical and waste management, emergency procedures) to meet regulatory requirements and promote employee accountability. • Identify, eliminate, and control hazardous conditions using safety standards, best practices, and analytical techniques. • Develop and conduct regulatory‑compliant training, ensuring proper documentation. • Assist sites with job safety analysis and safe work procedure development. • Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions. • Collect data and provide reports to support client compliance programs. • Participate in and conduct site compliance audits. • Lead EH&S investigations of incidents and near‑misses, determine root causes, and develop preventive actions. • Monitor recordkeeping and reporting performance for risk‑related requirements. • Ensure ISO 45001/14001 compliance and standardized implementation of site‑specific programs to meet CPI/KPIs and legal obligations.

The manager must have a strong understanding of the EH&S regulatory environment for APAC countries and the critical and key performance indicators related to customer expectations. The objective is to deliver effective safety leadership at each site, protecting personnel and property while avoiding loss and ensuring business continuity. Travel throughout the APJC theater may be required. • Minimum five years of experience in health and safety compliance and management systems. • Strong knowledge of APJC EH&S regulations and proficiency with ISO 14001 and 45001. • Degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. • Knowledge of safety fundamentals, industrial safety, risk management, and data automation for safety. • Good work ethic and interpersonal skills. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities. • Excellent communication to engage stakeholders at all levels. • Ability to collaborate across organizations and achieve results without direct reports. • Skilled in delivering EH&S training to large audiences, both in‑person and remotely. • Ability to work with minimal supervision. • Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and basic computer applications.
