About the Role
The Production Floor Supervisor oversees and coordinates daily operations on the production floor, ensuring that goods are manufactured efficiently and on schedule. This role is critical to maintaining timely production and meeting company standards. Key responsibilities include directing production activities, analyzing production documents to schedule work, and collaborating with other supervisors to align departmental operations. The supervisor maintains accurate records of employee time, production output, and costs, prepares shift performance reports, and implements measures to motivate staff while improving methods, equipment performance, and product quality. They also request necessary materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repairs, ensure punctual attendance, and foster cooperative relationships while complying with all company policies. • Coordinate production activities to ensure efficient manufacturing. • Analyze production documents and schedule work accordingly. • Collaborate with supervisors across departments. • Maintain accurate records of employee time, production, and costs. • Prepare shift performance reports for departmental supervisors. • Implement measures to motivate employees and improve methods, equipment performance, and product quality. • Request necessary materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repairs. • Ensure punctual attendance and adherence to company policies. • Foster cooperative relationships with colleagues. • Build successful teams by fostering an environment of trust.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED, with 3–5 years of relevant industry experience preferred, and additional education is considered an advantage. Essential knowledge, skills, and abilities include building trustful teams, strong organizational and decision‑making skills, meticulous attention to quality, and effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Required certifications include leadership training, First Aid and CPR, and potentially RCRA, DOT, HVAC, or 608 Universal Refrigerant certifications depending on the assignment. The work environment involves exposure to extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, chemical fumes, and heavy forklift traffic, with physical demands such as lifting up to 50 lb and sustained walking, climbing, and stooping. • Demonstrate strong organizational, quality, decision‑making, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Hold leadership, First Aid/CPR, and relevant certifications (RCRA, DOT, HVAC, 608) as required. • Work safely in manufacturing settings with exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, dust, chemicals, and heavy forklift traffic; lift up to 50 lb.
