About the Role
The Design Technician will perform design, drafting, and project-related tasks on assigned projects. They will set up and draft project base maps by analyzing utility drawings, sketches, and notes to determine the best approach. The role also includes producing computer-generated plans, profiles, and sections, following company CAD standards, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring detail and dimension consistency across drawing sheets. • Perform design, drafting, and project tasks on assigned projects. • Set up and draft project base maps by analyzing utility drawings, sketches, and notes. • Produce computer‑generated plans, profiles, and section drawings from detailed sketches. • Follow company CAD standards for layering and sheet layout. • Coordinate details and dimensions across drawing sheets with project teams.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least a High School Diploma/GED, with an Associate’s Degree or higher preferred, and bring 5+ years of related experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and strong English communication skills are required.
