Key duties include establishing and maintaining GitLab repositories for version control, code collaboration, and tracking changes to scripts, documentation, and system configurations, as well as implementing role‑based access controls to ensure only authorized personnel can manage repositories. • Set up and maintain GitLab repositories for code, scripts, documentation, and system configurations. • Configure role‑based access controls to restrict repository access to authorized personnel. • Manage Git repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and secure DevOps integration. • Apply access control policies, automated testing frameworks, and software configuration management. • Provide troubleshooting and automation support for development teams. • Prioritize and manage complex project tasks.

What You Bring
NV5 Geospatial is recruiting a GitLab Administrator to support US Southern Command remotely. The role requires strong capabilities in administering, maintaining, and optimizing GitLab for version control, repository management, and secure DevSecOps workflows. US citizenship and the ability to pass a basic background check are required; a Secret or TS/SCI clearance is preferred but not mandatory. • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Software Engineering or 5 years of GitLab administration experience. • Preferred: GitLab Certified Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Portuguese/Spanish proficiency, government IT experience, Secret or TS/SCI clearance. • Work remotely or from any NV5 regional office; up to 5‑15 % travel required. • U.S. citizenship required; background check and drug screening mandatory.
