About the Role
The manager acts as the single point of contact for customers, taking ownership of issues and coordinating internal and external resources to resolve them. They lead remote work crews, oversee multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure all contractual commitments are fulfilled while adhering to Hitachi’s execution processes. • Serve as single point of contact for customers, own and resolve issues with internal and external teams. • Collaborate with Global Execution Centers to address site issues promptly. • Provide after‑hours support for urgent issue resolution. • Drive all project activities, report status to management, and manage remote crews and specialized engineers. • Oversee multiple projects, follow Hitachi processes, and ensure contractual commitments are met. • Set customer expectations, manage acceptance of deliveries, and secure timely payments. • Utilize full cost models to develop opportunities while controlling project costs and cash flow. • Engage customers, suppliers, and finance to ensure accurate and timely payments. • Participate in negotiating project terms with legal counsel. • Report progress to customers, raise potential issues early to stakeholders. • Negotiate scope and change management to pursue additional revenue. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement chosen approaches. • Coordinate project transportation and logistics with Supply Chain Management. • Monitor critical suppliers' progress and integrate updates into overall schedule. • Build extensive internal and external networks, persuade, negotiate, and manage conflict.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field and bring at least ten years of experience in project management, field service, or customer support. They demonstrate critical‑thinking, strong leadership, and proficiency in risk identification, cost control, and negotiation, and must be authorized to work in the United States. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required. • Minimum 10 years experience in project management, field service, project engineering, or customer support. • Proven critical‑thinking, issue‑resolution, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills. • Knowledge of critical path analysis, risk identification, and mitigation techniques. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver quality results. • Self‑starter with proactive approach to issue closure and team leadership. • Authorized to work in the United States.
