About the Role
The Product Owner will join an Agile Delivery Team in the Commercial organization, responsible for maximizing team value by aligning the backlog with customer and stakeholder needs. The role may oversee multiple high‑value products across functional areas, set product roadmaps, prioritize work, and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve strategic business goals. • Partner with business sponsors and other Product Owners to shape product vision, prioritize backlog items, and align features with stakeholder preferences. • Write project specifications and user stories in collaboration with Business Analysts and business stakeholders. • Support Agile ceremonies such as portfolio planning, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release planning. • Provide context to the Agile Delivery Team to design solutions that meet current and future business needs and report progress against business plans. • Identify and remove impediments by gathering information from stakeholders and escalating issues to the Scrum Master or business lead. • Attend occasional travel, in‑person trainings, and team meetings as required.

What You Bring
This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the United States who can work on a corporate day‑shift schedule aligned with Eastern or Central Standard Time. Occasional travel may be required for in‑person meetings and trainings. • Bachelor’s degree (or 12 years of experience in lieu of degree) and at least 8 years of relevant experience. • 3+ years experience as founder, entrepreneur‑in‑residence, Product Owner or similar role. • Proven experience with Agile/SCRUM software development and ability to review design assets. • Product experience with cloud‑based systems and technical background in software development. • Broad knowledge across product management, operations, engineering, UX/UI, sales, support, finance or marketing. • Demonstrated ability to define, launch, and evolve products using research, data, and industry trends. • Experience with Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics. • Prior role on an Agile team as Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Business Analyst. • Background in the commercial energy industry. • Technical degree in computer science or related field. • Master’s degree in science or business.
