About the Role
• Work within a team following standardized practices and department procedures. • Process monthly and weekly union reports manually and via the online system. • Use internal software to calculate required union payments. • Collaborate with accounts payable to process and reconcile under‑ or over‑payments. • Enter new benefit deductions and update wage rates. • Process weekly fringe deductions for all trades. • Generate weekly and monthly JD Edwards reports. • Input employee fringe benefit and voluntary deduction authorizations into JDE. • Research and resolve over‑/under‑payment of fringe contributions. • Update and maintain the department procedure manual. • Respond to internal and external requests and inquiries. • Ensure attention to detail in all tasks. • Apply basic accounting knowledge to benefit fund processes.

What You Bring
The company manages over 400 labor contracts and processes union fringe contributions, working closely with the Labor Team. The Union Benefits Coordinator is responsible for entering and tracking wage rates and applicable union fringe payments, requiring meticulous attention to detail, multitasking ability, independent work, and a basic understanding of accounting functions; experience with a benefit fund is preferred. • Ability to multitask and work independently.
