About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer IV or Senior Electrical Engineer, you will interact with clients, contractors, architects, and project team members, delivering trade‑specific system designs, layout, calculations, and coordination with other disciplines under senior guidance. • Create basic electrical designs and establish system application, design, and operational parameters under senior guidance. • Produce layout drawings using CAD/BIM and perform calculations with appropriate software. • Coordinate electrical designs with architectural and other engineering trades. • Participate in QA/QC reviews for own work and that of others as assigned. • Assist senior staff in determining project schedules, staffing needs, and budgets. • Conduct construction administration, field investigations, inspections, and detailed inspection reports. • Support senior engineers in processing RFIs, change orders, bulletins, and addenda. • Read and evaluate floor plans, sections, and elevations; visualize 3‑D building spaces. • Apply proper system selection, building codes, and LEED principles to designs.

What You Bring
Your background in a consulting design firm, working on commercial, healthcare, and mission‑critical projects, positions you for success in this role. Based in the Atlanta, GA office, you will contribute to the design of major projects across diverse markets worldwide. The ideal candidate is proficient in Revit for system layouts and spatial coordination, possesses strong communication and organizational skills, and aims to grow into a senior engineering role. A minimum of seven years in a consulting firm, experience with AutoCAD MEP, knowledge of building codes, LEED principles, and an EIT (PE for senior designation) are required. • Hold an EIT credential (PE required for senior engineer designation). • Use Revit and the latest AutoCAD MEP for system layouts and detailed drawings. • Leverage 7–8+ years of consulting experience designing electrical power systems.
