About the Role

The Associate Civil Engineer will provide technical leadership to project teams working on planning, evaluation, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects. The role leads study and design phases across civil, power, environmental, construction, and industrial fields, while maintaining a professional presence and basic proficiency in at least one software package. • Consult with and guide stakeholders on engineering requirements for construction designs, modifications, and repairs. • Use design software and drawing tools to render and communicate project designs. • Set design specifications by computing engineering requirements such as water flow rates and traffic demand. • Plan projects by analyzing drawings, blueprints, aerial photos, survey reports, maps, and topographical data. • Draft and present reports on project topics, including detention and engineering due diligence reports. • Estimate construction costs using benchmarking data. • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and engineers to ensure proper project progress. • Work with surveyors to establish reference points, grades, elevations, and other construction factors. • Monitor project progress to ensure design specifications and standards are met. • Develop baseline knowledge of state and local regulations. • Identify and solve complex problems. • Maintain extreme attention to detail and accuracy. • Travel to various project sites. • Deliver An Exceptional Client Experience.

What You Bring

• Hold a Civil Engineering degree or related field. • Possess desired public speaking ability. • Understand basic civil engineering principles, practices, and tools. • Proficient in CAD and other design, data recording, and analysis software. • Understand materials, methods, and tools for construction or repair of site and transportation infrastructure. • Excel in verbal and written communication. • Combine creativity with analytical thinking. • Sit for prolonged periods working at a computer. • Lift up to 15 pounds as needed. • Access and navigate job sites and construction areas. • Kleingers Academy and Development Training.
