About the Role

The Process Engineer within the Coatings Department focuses on improving systems and product quality for the Pickle and Galvanize lines. The role emphasizes data‑driven analysis, cross‑functional teamwork and hands‑on problem solving to boost safety, quality, productivity and cost performance. Flexibility for scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including weekends and holidays, is required. • Conduct data‑driven analysis to identify improvement opportunities • Implement solutions that enhance safety, quality, productivity and cost efficiency • Collaborate with Operations, Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance, and Quality teams • Perform hands‑on troubleshooting and sustain process improvements • Prioritize high‑impact projects and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines • Use structured problem‑solving methods for root‑cause analysis • Ensure precise implementation and verification of process changes

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline. Prior experience with pickling or galvanizing process improvement is considered an asset. • Demonstrate initiative by proactively spotting and resolving issues • Work effectively in team environments to achieve common goals • Communicate technical concepts clearly to operators and supervisors • Preferred: experience in pickling or galvanizing process improvement
