About the Role

The Regional Operations Coordinator (Central TX) for KBR’s SPARC program acts as both an operational leader and community engagement champion. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, the role oversees a regional team, ensures brain‑donation logistics run smoothly, and drives outreach to raise awareness and increase registry enrollment. The position involves significant travel (≈60%) and participates in rotating on‑call coverage. In the leadership capacity, the coordinator supervises staff, handles scheduling, case management, performance reviews, and prepares weekly activity reports for senior leadership. They guarantee completion of required training, maintain standard operating procedures, and ensure regulatory compliance across site operations. The coordinator leads the informed‑consent process, works with coroners, hospitals, law‑enforcement and transport partners to secure timely brain donations, and oversees specimen handling, inventory, and shipment according to IRB protocols. They also design and execute community‑education events, create marketing materials using tools such as Canva and Trello, and collaborate with other regions for a unified outreach strategy while meeting all reporting requirements. • Supervise regional team, manage scheduling, case management, and performance. • Prepare and deliver weekly site activity reports to senior leadership. • Ensure staff complete required training and maintain SOPs for compliance. • Lead informed‑consent process and coordinate with coroners, hospitals, law‑enforcement, and transport for brain donations. • Oversee handling, inventory, recovery, and shipment of brain specimens per IRB protocols. • Provide on‑call coverage and staff scheduling for donation cases. • Develop and execute outreach, education, and community‑engagement campaigns. • Create marketing collateral (slide decks, brochures, handouts) using Canva, Trello, etc. • Collaborate with other regions to standardize marketing and outreach efforts. • Document and report outreach events, registries, consent discussions, and specimen shipments.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least five years of experience in management, research recruitment, or donor‑tissue operations, with proven supervisory abilities. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in a related field and background in tissue/organ donation or military health.
