About the Role
• Provide updates to stakeholders on engineering requirements and design modifications using CAD tools. • Plan projects by analyzing drawings, surveys, maps, and topographic data to meet design specifications. • Perform calculations and draft technical reports for projects. • Ensure compliance with design specifications and standards. • Participate in meetings and events to support project success and build professional networks. • Develop baseline knowledge of state and local regulations. • Travel to various project sites as needed. • Problem solver: develop innovative solutions. • Organized: maintain orderly resources. • Deliver an Exceptional Client Experience.

What You Bring
The Graduate Civil Engineer will be working on planning, evaluation, design and implementation of civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will learn the study-phase and/or design-phase of projects related to the civil, environmental, construction and industrial fields. The Graduate Civil Engineer would learn through having interaction with employees outside of their department, rarely have interaction with clients, and rarely interact with the public (agencies, government entities, etc.). The Graduate Civil Engineer is expected to project a professional presence, representing the Company and the department in a positive light, and have beginner level of software knowledge of at least one (1) engineering software package. This role is not required to have a Professional Engineering license. • Demonstrate a strong desire to learn and expand civil engineering knowledge. • Hold a Civil Engineering (or related) degree. • Be an EIT or working toward EIT (preferred). • Understand basic civil engineering principles, practices, and tools. • Proficient in CAD and related design and analysis software. • Know materials, methods, and tools for site and transportation infrastructure construction/repair. • Be detail‑oriented and accurate. • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills. • Sit for extended periods, work on a computer, and lift up to 15 lb occasionally. • Access and navigate job sites and construction areas. • Detail‑oriented: deliver high‑quality work. • Experience‑based PTO. • Kleingers Academy and Development Training.
