About the Role
The Senior Fit‑Out Project Manager role is based in London and focuses on delivering large‑scale interior programmes for blue‑chip FTSE 500 organisations. The position offers the opportunity to act as AECOM’s senior representative with major clients, guiding projects from concept through handover while championing innovation and community impact. • Lead delivery of multiple complex fit‑out projects or programmes, aligning with client strategic objectives. • Oversee all project phases, from feasibility and design through procurement, construction, and handover. • Act as a trusted advisor to senior clients, building long‑term relationships. • Manage project governance, including cost control, scheduling, risk and issue mitigation, and quality assurance. • Coordinate multidisciplinary internal and external teams such as QS, MEP, architecture, sustainability, and contractors. • Mentor junior project managers and support staff, providing direction and development. • Make proactive decisions with minimal supervision and escalate strategically when needed. • Ensure compliance with budgets, timelines, health and safety standards, and client expectations.

What You Bring
• Demonstrated experience in fit‑out or construction project management on high‑value, complex projects. • Strong pre‑ and post‑contract management expertise across the RIBA lifecycle. • Proven ability to engage and manage senior‑level stakeholders. • Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contract administration; accreditation advantageous. • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership capabilities. • Professional qualification in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying (Master’s desirable). • Chartered status with RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE, or similar professional bodies. • Affiliation with APM and experience with Prince2, MSP, or similar methodologies considered beneficial.
