Transfer Station Laborer/Operator

About the Role

A Laborer is responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labor duties at a hauling company, transfer station, recycling center, or landfill. Duties may include yard clean‑up, fueling vehicles and equipment, general vehicle operation, office maintenance, and other related tasks. Safely and efficiently perform assigned duties such as cleaning work areas, fueling vehicles and equipment, and cleaning track‑type machinery. Additional tasks include yard work (mowing, paper pick‑up), operating site vehicles (water trucks, pick‑up trucks, sweepers, mowers, trimming equipment), office maintenance and repairs (painting, janitorial), installing temporary wind fences, directing site traffic, and other job‑related duties as assigned. • Clean work areas and perform yard maintenance (mowing, paper pick‑up). • Fuel vehicles and equipment; clean track‑type machinery. • Operate site vehicles including water trucks, pick‑up trucks, sweepers, and mowers. • Perform office maintenance, painting, and janitorial tasks. • Install temporary wind fences and direct site traffic as needed. • Participate in comprehensive benefits such as health coverage, retirement match, and paid time off. • Contribute to a safety‑focused, environmentally responsible workplace culture.
