About the Role
In this position you will manage the end‑to‑end tendering process, from generating tenders based on departmental demand to reviewing technical enquiries and applying standard pricing where appropriate. You will collaborate closely with the external salesforce to support product and solution strategies, maintain and update quotation and pricing tools, and ensure tender pricing and cost estimates receive proper management approval. Formal risk analysis will be performed on relevant tenders, and all resulting orders will be verified against quotations before handover to contracts. • Produce tenders according to department loading demands. • Review technical enquiries and apply standard pricing where applicable. • Collaborate with external salesforce to support product and solution identification. • Maintain and update standard quotation and pricing tools to reflect market needs. • Review, approve, and submit tender pricing/cost estimates for management approval. • Conduct formal risk analysis and include mitigation plans in tender submissions. • Verify that orders received align with quotations before handover to contracts. • Apply strong commercial knowledge of customers and their business drivers. • Leverage technical expertise in switchgear technologies and competitor offerings. • Manage contract administration and proposal processes effectively. • Understand and align with the company’s manufacturing and purchasing strategy. • Commit to upskilling on commercial terms and conditions. • Foster cross‑functional collaboration and understand other departmental functions.

What You Bring
Success in the role requires strong commercial insight into the customer base and their business drivers, as well as deep technical knowledge of switchgear technologies and competitor offerings. Proven experience in contract administration and proposal management, an understanding of Schneider Electric’s manufacturing and purchasing strategies, and excellent negotiation skills are also essential. A willingness to up‑skill on commercial terms and an awareness of other departmental functions further support effective performance. • Negotiate and manage contract amendments with excellent negotiation skills.
