About the Role

Our Business Case Advisory team supports local authorities, combined authorities, National Highways, the Department for Transport and other national clients, helping them navigate changing policy, funding and appraisal landscapes to unlock investment for clean, inclusive growth. You will work closely with specialist groups such as Net Zero, Future Mobility and Transport Communications, and you will be expected to build trusted advisory relationships with clients, collaborate across UK and India offices, and support the development of colleagues. • Manage technical delivery of high‑quality business cases to secure public sector funding for transport infrastructure and operations • Project‑manage business‑case projects in line with company management systems • Lead development and assurance of Commercial and Management Cases per HM Treasury’s Green Book and DfT guidance • Oversee technical and commercial responses for bid opportunities, including bid/no‑bid decisions • Apply creative thinking to provide pragmatic, technically‑informed advice that meets client needs • Deliver projects effectively, meeting quality, timeline and budget targets • Engage confidently with clients to build trusted advisor relationships and positively represent WSP • Collaborate and communicate effectively with UK and India Business Case Advisory teams and wider business • Support colleague development through formal and informal knowledge sharing • Participate in inclusivity programs and employee resource groups promoting a diverse workplace
