About the Role

The Groundskeeper at Axle Apartments is a key member of the maintenance team, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and collaborating with office staff to deliver world‑class service to residents. This hands‑on professional ensures the property’s daily operations run smoothly and contributes to a pleasant living environment. Primary responsibilities include maintaining the exterior appearance of the community—cleaning driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, and exterior hallways—along with caring for flowerbeds, plants, and grass, performing snow removal, and handling routine pool maintenance. The Groundskeeper also addresses resident concerns promptly and may assist the maintenance crew on additional projects as needed. • Clean and maintain driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, and exterior hallways. • Care for flowerbeds, plants, and grass areas. • Perform snow removal and routine pool cleaning/maintenance. • Provide friendly, professional customer service to residents. • Assist maintenance staff on additional projects as needed. • Follow Cushman & Wakefield uniform and appearance standards. • Adhere to all safety procedures and safeguard tools and equipment. • Work evenings or weekends on call for emergencies. • Lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 50 pounds regularly.

What You Bring

The role requires excellent oral and written communication skills, a professional and courteous demeanor, and the ability to work evenings or weekends on call. Employees must be able to follow directions in English or Spanish and adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and uniform standards. A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent technical/vocational training is required. The position involves regular travel between properties, exposure to varying weather conditions, and physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds. • Communicate effectively in English; bilingual ability in Spanish preferred. • Travel between properties up to 10% of time, often in varying weather.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $15.30 to $18.00 per hour, with eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, vision, dental, flexible spending, retirement plans, and paid or unpaid time off.
