About the Role

The supervisor is responsible for overseeing cleaning and furniture supply services, managing the receiving, delivery, storage, and inventory of materials and equipment, and directing both on‑site and off‑site warehouse operations. They plan warehouse space utilization, conduct periodic inventories, coordinate resupply of critical items, and develop policies and procedures to support service delivery. • Supervise and execute cleaning and furniture supply services. • Oversee receiving, delivery, storage, and inventory of all materials, equipment, and supplies. • Manage on‑site and off‑site warehouse operations and optimize space utilization. • Conduct periodic inventories and coordinate resupply of critical items. • Develop and implement policies, prioritize resources, and recommend procedures. • Select, train, and evaluate personnel; address performance deficiencies. • Direct work plans, assign tasks, monitor workflow, and review work products. • Identify and implement improvements to service delivery methods.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least five years of personnel management experience, with prior base services experience preferred. They should possess knowledge of personnel utilization, training methods, equal opportunity, and human relations, and have experience working with diverse cultures in austere, hazardous environments. Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead, coach, and supervise a team are essential. Physical requirements include lifting up to 35 lb individually, team lifts of 50 lb, climbing, extended periods of sitting and standing, walking, stooping, stretching, and bending. Employees must be able to live and work in harsh climatic and austere conditions, potentially facing moderate to extreme physical danger. • Minimum five years’ personnel management experience; base services experience preferred. • Knowledge of personnel utilization, training, equal opportunity, and human relations. • Experience working with diverse cultures in austere, hazardous environments. • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to lead, coach, and supervise a team; exercise discretion and make effective decisions. • Ability to lift up to 35 lb individually and 50 lb team lifts; perform climbing, stooping, stretching, bending. • Capable of extended sitting, standing, walking, and working in harsh climatic and austere conditions.
