About the Role

The successful candidate will lead client‑facing project delivery, ensuring high‑quality outcomes and strong stakeholder satisfaction, while driving business development initiatives and nurturing long‑term client partnerships. You will manage internal design teams, oversee engineering assessments for complex, multi‑client projects, and represent Stantec in industry forums, client presentations, and strategic meetings. Additionally, you will deliver innovative electrical designs, reports and specifications across sectors such as health, defence, high‑rise, industrial and education, and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of excellence. • Lead client‑facing project delivery and ensure stakeholder satisfaction • Drive business development and nurture long‑term client partnerships • Manage internal design teams and oversee engineering assessments for complex projects • Represent Stantec in industry forums, client presentations and strategic meetings • Deliver innovative electrical designs and specifications across multiple sectors • Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous improvement

What You Bring

Candidates must have proven experience in a design consultancy environment, with a strong track record of client engagement and project leadership. Required qualifications include Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or equivalent, Victorian fire‑safety certifier accreditation, and high‑level expertise in fire safety design, analysis and risk assessment. A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative team are essential. • Hold CPEng (or equivalent) status and Victorian fire‑safety certifier accreditation • Demonstrate strong communication, presentation and risk‑assessment skills
