About the Role

The Project Manager (Roads) will lead small to medium‑sized roads infrastructure projects, typically up to $50 million, overseeing all phases from design through construction and maintenance. This role ensures projects are completed on schedule and within or below budget while meeting contractual obligations and regulatory requirements. In addition to financial oversight, the manager will guide a multidisciplinary team, develop project plans, and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships. Responsibilities also include managing change orders, ensuring health, safety, and quality standards, and representing Parsons in client meetings, regulatory negotiations, and public forums. • Lead planning, design, construction, and maintenance of roads infrastructure projects up to $50M. • Manage project budget, forecast revenue, control costs, and ensure profitability. • Oversee contract administration, invoicing, change orders, and compliance with regulations. • Direct project team, assign tasks, and develop staff performance and career plans. • Negotiate scope changes with clients and subcontractors and pursue additional work. • Represent the company in client meetings, regulatory negotiations, and public forums. • Implement health, safety, and quality assurance plans throughout the project lifecycle. • Provide weekly status meetings and detailed reports to senior management.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a transportation focus and have at least ten years of relevant experience, including extensive work on roads projects. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred, and applicants should demonstrate effective leadership, communication, and knowledge of industry practices and emerging technologies. • Require a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (transportation focus) and 10+ years experience; PE license preferred. • Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and knowledge of industry practices and technology.
