About the Role
• Review and convey engineer’s consent to contractors’ baseline schedule per contract and Parsons practices. • Validate project resource compatibility and develop master schedule integrating multiple packages and interdependencies. • Identify risks, document them in the project risk register, and perform "what‑if" analyses to assess change impacts. • Evaluate progress schedules, highlight potential delays, and recommend mitigation or recovery actions. • Prepare regular progress and monthly reports, program analyses, and presentations on milestones. • Conduct detailed claim assessments (EOT, disruption) using time‑impact and window analysis methodologies. • Coordinate with contractors, clients, and consultants to resolve scheduling issues and finalize programs. • Attend project meetings, provide inputs, and record concise minutes of discussions. • Create trackers and logs for critical issues; establish progress measurement systems with key indicators. • Issue delay notices and performance letters for contractor delays. • Lead and mentor a team of planning engineers, providing technical and leadership guidance. • Maintain thorough knowledge of industry best practices and regulations.

What You Bring
Parsons is seeking a highly talented Planning Engineer to lead planning and scheduling on major RTA projects. The role involves reviewing baseline schedules, validating resources, developing master schedules, and identifying risks to ensure timely project completion while providing clear communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management and brings over ten years of planning and scheduling experience on large infrastructure projects such as interchanges, highways, bridges, and utilities. Proficiency in Primavera P6, strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to lead a team of planning engineers are essential. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management. • Possess a minimum of 10+ years of planning and scheduling experience on major infrastructure projects. • Demonstrate proficiency with Primavera P6 and other scheduling software. • Exhibit strong written and oral communication skills. • Prior experience on RTA Dubai projects is advantageous.
