About the Role
As a Cleaner on our team you will be responsible for maintaining a designated zone with a focus on quality control, health and safety, and exceeding client expectations. You will report to the Manager/Supervisor and perform a variety of floor, glass, washroom and carpet cleaning tasks using both manual and powered equipment. The role also includes transporting garbage, supplies and machinery, and handling snow removal when required. • Sweep, scrub, dry/wet mop and polish hard‑surface floors using handheld, walk‑behind or automatic scrubbers. • Strip, seal and finish floors manually or with power equipment as needed. • Clean glass surfaces, washroom floors, stairwells and elevator cabs, including ladder work. • Transport garbage from drop points to bins or compactors and move cleaning equipment between floors. • Load, unload and replenish cleaning supplies and solutions. • Mix and apply chemical cleaners according to safety specifications and WHMIS guidelines. • Operate snowplows, snow blowers or shovels and spread melt chemicals for sidewalk and driveway clearance. • Report major repairs or system additions to management promptly. • Maintain and store cleaning equipment and machinery after use.

What You Bring
• Demonstrated experience in institutional cleaning and floor‑maintenance machine operation. • Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, WHMIS and related safety procedures. • Physical ability to lift/push/pull heavy items, climb ladders and work outdoors in varying conditions. • Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility to work weekends, holidays and multiple locations.

Benefits
The position is regular, part-time with an hourly wage of $17.60 to $20.88, based on experience, education and performance. Candidates must meet security-clearance requirements, hold a valid Class G driver’s licence, and be able to lift up to 25 lb and work weekends, holidays and multiple locations.
