About the Role
The Maintenance Technician assists with corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance, as well as the make‑ready process, under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. • Attend community daily and respond promptly to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance, including swimming pool upkeep and chemical logging. • Assist with scheduling and execution of maintenance‑related turn events and unit make‑ready processes. • Conduct daily inspections of grounds, buildings, and community features to identify and correct hazards. • Maintain a well‑organized, stocked maintenance shop while adhering to safety, OSHA, and Asset Living policies. • Support the Maintenance Supervisor with inventory monitoring, hazard communication, and record‑keeping for service requests and EPA/OSHA compliance. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround, and enforce community policies consistently. • Participate in on‑call emergency response and additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.

What You Bring
The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations, while meeting physical demands such as climbing ladders, lifting 100 lb objects, and working in various weather conditions and on‑call emergencies.

Benefits
