About the Role

The role involves architecting and delivering enterprise‑scale situational awareness and decision‑support software systems to meet mission‑critical needs. You will lead the design, integration, and deployment of real‑time and near‑real‑time data processing platforms for operational intelligence applications, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into deployable solutions under tight deadlines. We are seeking an exceptional Senior Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in designing and delivering mission‑critical decision‑support and situational awareness systems. This senior technical leadership role requires a seasoned professional who can architect enterprise‑scale integration solutions, lead complex system deployments, and translate critical operational requirements into deployable capabilities under demanding timelines. Candidates must be U.S. citizens with an active TS/SCI clearance; an active Secret clearance is also required for this position. These clearances support the sensitive nature of the work within the Federal Solutions team. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and at least 20 years of software engineering and architecture experience in defense, intelligence, or aerospace sectors. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in enterprise architecture, solution design, and a proven track record of deploying large‑scale situational awareness and decision‑support platforms. Experience with real‑time/near‑real‑time data integration, ISR systems, geospatial intelligence visualization, modeling and simulation, and operational analytics is essential, as is the ability to deliver under extreme time constraints. Preferred qualifications include an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, extensive support experience for DoD or Intelligence Community customers, and a solid understanding of military operations, intelligence workflows, and defense acquisition processes. Familiarity with collection management, targeting, and operational planning software systems is also valued. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 20+ years of software engineering/architecture experience in defense, intelligence, or aerospace. • Expertise in enterprise architecture, solution design, real‑time data integration, ISR, geospatial intelligence, and operational analytics. • Demonstrated ability to deliver software under extreme time constraints and operational pressure. • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (and active Secret clearance) required. • Desired: extensive DoD/Intelligence Community support experience, knowledge of military operations, intelligence workflows, defense acquisition, collection management, targeting, and operational planning software.

Benefits

The salary range for this role is $80.48 to $151.20 per hour. Compensation is competitive and reflects the level of expertise required.
