About the Role
You will deliver structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures, develop and review foundation systems, and produce high‑quality drawings, calculations, and construction documents. Site visits will involve construction reviews, field verifications, and design assessments, while close collaboration with clients, design partners, and contractors will support project delivery. You will also prepare technical reports, proposals, and assist project management to keep work on schedule and within budget. • Perform structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures in heavy industrial and mining projects. • Develop and review foundation system designs to ensure long‑term performance and safety. • Produce structural drawings, calculations, and construction documentation. • Conduct site visits for construction reviews, field verifications, and design assessments. • Collaborate with clients, design partners, and contractors to support project delivery. • Prepare technical reports and proposal documents. • Support project management to meet schedule and budget targets.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, a BC Professional Engineer licence, and 5–8 years of structural design experience in consulting, preferably within industrial or mining sectors. Knowledge of CSA design standards, Canadian building codes, and proficiency with analysis software such as STAAD‑PRO, S‑Frame, SAP2000, SAFE, plus AutoCAD (Revit a plus) is required. Strong teamwork, communication skills, a valid driver’s licence, and the ability to travel to sites are essential; French language skills are an asset. • Hold a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and a BC P.Eng licence. • Bring 5–8 years of structural engineering design experience, preferably in industrial or mining consulting. • Apply knowledge of CSA design standards and Canadian building codes. • Use structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD‑PRO, S‑Frame, SAP2000, SAFE) and AutoCAD; Revit Structure is a plus. • Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Possess a valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to project sites; French language skills are an asset.
