About the Role
The role involves following company and OSHA safety procedures, attending safety meetings, performing general labor tasks such as sweeping, shoveling, and warehouse clean‑up, operating a forklift, assisting with weighing, sorting and moving material, inspecting incoming scrap, advising customers on accepted materials, and cross‑training to support other positions as needed. • Operate forklift and handle scrap material safely • Inspect incoming scrap and advise customers on acceptability • Cross‑train and assist team members as needed

What You Bring
Candidates must thrive in a fast‑paced outdoor environment, have at least one year of general labor experience in heavy manufacturing or scrap metal settings, be able to stand or walk up to 12 hours daily, lift up to 80 lb and handle 10‑25 lb repeatedly, work in extreme heat and varying weather, adapt to changing priorities, maintain reliable attendance, and be flexible for overtime, weekends and holidays. Forklift certification, bilingual ability, and residing within 50 miles of the location are preferred. • Ability to work up to 12 hours standing/walking and lift 80 lb • Bilingual preferred; candidates within 50 mi of Jacksonville, FL
