About the Role
Key responsibilities include handling employment‑related inquiries, participating in disciplinary meetings and investigations, administering compensation, benefits, leave, performance, and talent management programs, and managing new‑hire onboarding activities such as background checks, drug screens, orientation materials, and record updates. The role also schedules drug testing, processes E‑Verify requests, maintains confidential filing systems, ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, collects and updates employee data, arranges travel for HR and Operations, conducts orientation sessions, stays current on HR trends and regulations, adheres to internal policies, and completes special projects as assigned. • Respond to employment inquiries; refer complex issues to HR Director. • Participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. • Administer compensation, benefits, leave, performance, and talent management programs. • Coordinate new‑hire onboarding: background checks, drug screens, orientation materials, and records. • Schedule drug testing and process E‑Verify eligibility checks. • Maintain confidential HR filing systems and ensure legal compliance. • Collect and update employee data across multiple systems accurately and timely. • Arrange travel for HR and Operations as needed. • Conduct new‑hire orientation sessions. • Monitor and apply updates to employment laws, HR best practices, and technology. • Execute special HR projects and additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and have at least three years of experience across multiple HR disciplines including compensation, organizational development, employee relations, performance management, and employment law. Required skills include strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, conflict‑resolution, organizational, time‑management, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities, as well as integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A PHR certification is preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. • Minimum 3 years experience in compensation, organizational development, employee relations, performance management, and employment law. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution abilities. • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time‑management. • Analytical and problem‑solving competencies. • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. • Preferred: PHR certification.
