About the Role

The WSH Coordinator role involves reviewing work authorizations, assessing risk assessments, safe work procedures, and permit‑to‑work documents. The coordinator also conducts in‑house safety inductions and WSH training for the workforce. The coordinator carries out regular safety inspections to ensure work activities comply with WSH rules and regulations, identifies unsafe practices or conditions and recommends control measures. They maintain training records and relevant WSH documents, liaise with partners and contractors, generate safety reports for management and manage inventory of personal protective equipment. • Review work authorizations, risk assessments, safe work procedures, and permit‑to‑work documents • Conduct in‑house safety inductions and WSH training for the workforce • Perform regular safety inspections ensuring compliance with WSH regulations • Identify unsafe work practices or conditions and recommend control measures • Maintain training records and WSH documentation • Liaise with partners and contractors on safety matters • Generate safety reports for management • Manage inventory of personal protective equipment
